Booking
All bookings made prior to the 1st March 2012 will be held as an option until this date. All options will be confirmed by International Quest on receipt of 15% deposit of the total expected course fees. Invoices will be issued on 1st March 2012 and payment due by the 14th March 2012. If payment is not received by the due date International Quest reserves the right to cancel the option. Any bookings made after the 1st March 2012 will only be confirmed by International Quest on receipt of a 15% deposit of the total expected course fees. If the booking is made within 28 days of the course start date we will ask you to pay all fees in full at the time of booking.
Payments
All payments must be made in UK Sterling. All credit card payments incur a 2.5% surcharge on the total amount to be paid by credit card. If you are paying by direct bank transfer please ensure that you add £10 per transaction to cover UK bank charges. Full payment is due 11 working days before the course start date. No student will be allowed on to campus until all payments have been received in cleared funds.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be made in writing and will be confirmed in writing by International Quest. . If notice of cancellation is received more than 90 days before the start of the course, only the deposit will be forfeited. If notice of cancellation is received 90 days or less before the course start date the following charges will apply:-
More than 90 days before arrival date – loss of deposit
Between 90 days and 60 days before arrival date – 25% of total fees
Between 59 days and 7 days before arrival date – 50% of total fees
Less than 7 days before arrival date and non-arrivals – 100% of total fees
Immigration (Visa)
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has a valid passport and obtains appropriate documentation for entry to the UK, Ireland or USA. International Quest does not accept any liability for financial loss incurred by failure to have the correct travel documentation. Should a student be unsuccessful in their visa application, all fees apart from any bank charges will be refunded upon receipt of official evidence of your visa refusal.
Insurance
International Quest recommends that students travelling to the UK, Ireland or USA arrange full travel and medical insurance. International Quest offers a policy with an International insurance company that protects against expenses incurred through accident or illness and provides coverage for loss of baggage and personal effects. Please indicate at the time of booking if you wish to take out this insurance policy and we will forward you prices and further details.
Changes to courses
Details of the programmes outlined in International Quest publicity materials are given in good faith. International Quest is at times forced to make changes to services and reserves the right to change programmes, facilities, timetables, accommodation or dates of courses. International Quest also reserves the right to cancel courses or merge classes due to insufficient numbers. By enrolling on an International Quest course students automatically agree to allow pictures taken of them participating in activities or lessons to be used in future publicity material.
International Quest reserves the right, by giving notice to clients at any time before the Start Date, to increase the price of the services being provided to reflect any increase in costs to International Quest, which is due to factors beyond International Quest’s control, such as, without limitations, significant increases in accommodation cost, transport costs, labour costs etc…
Discipline
International Quest reserves the right to exclude students from their course or remove them from their accommodation in the event of unacceptable behaviour, poor discipline or low attendance. In such cases, there will be no refund of fees. In the event of exclusion or premature termination of the course, International Quest will not be responsible for providing alternative accommodation and all transportation and related costs will be the sole responsibility of the student and, or, his/her parent(s).
Complaints
Comlaints must be made in writing and submitted to International Quest while the student is attending the course. Complaints will not be given consideration if received after the student has completed the course.
Liability
International Quest does not accept liability for personal injury or the death of any student unless caused by the proven negligence of International Quest or its servants. International Quest does not accept any liability for the loss of or damage to any property belonging to students. International Quest accepts no responsibility for loses or additional expenses in the event of cancellation (whether whole or part) or changes due to delays in travel services, strikes, disasters, war or the threat of war, acts of terrorism within the UK and Ireland or abroad, quarantine, weather, sickness or any event outside the control of International Quest.
