15-hour course in the USA
The tuition programme in the USA is slightly shorter with 15 hours teaching contact time per week, with each morning being divided up into three 60-minute lessons. This allows students plenty of time to experience fully the delights of New York, Boston, San Francisco or San Diego.
Quick Smart English Course Book
We are especially proud of our Quick Smart English course books. Each student is given a copy to use in class and take away at the end of the course as a source of constant reference. Our curriculum is based on a series of daily units: each day looks at a different topic with materials taken from the course books.
Qualified Teachers in each centre
In the UK all of our teaching staff are qualified to the standards recommended by the British Council. Every teacher is also invited to attend an intensive training and induction session before starting work: this helps to ensure our teaching is kept to the highest standard possible.
Pre-course placement test!
Every student is asked to take an online placement test before arrival at the centre: this means that no time is wasted and classroom lessons can start on the very first day of the course! Our placement test assesses use of English, vocabulary, and grammar and also includes a listening test.
